Matthew Strong

Matthew Strong - Lake Tahoe Disc JockeysMatthew Allen Strong began his DJ career in the fall of 1993, as a teenager.  By age 18 he had become an experienced events coordinator for Calaveras County where he organized events, assemblies and field trips for "at risk" youth.  Throughout the 90's, Matt actively honed his DJ skills by performing for school, corporate and private party events.  By 2000 he not only became a sought after DJ, he also became a respected wedding events coordinator dealing with all aspects of pre-event planning, time management, photography, videography, floral design and placement.  Throughout this time he specialized in custom-tailoring each event to the specific needs of the customer.

In 2005, Matt officially launched Matthew Allen Weddings & Events.  This full time inclusion is a culmination of event planning, coordination, Disc Jockey and Master of Ceremony involvement that has gained strong affirmation from satisfied customers for more than 15 years.  In addition to his day-to-day activities with his full-time company, Matt has remained very active as a leader within the disc jockey and wedding industries.  He currently serves as the Vice President of the Reno / Lake Tahoe Chapter of The American Disc Jockey Association.

He is a student of advanced level training in both industries and actively participates in numerous trade conferences throughout the year.  He is a graduate of the Marbecca Method Workshops, presents seminars for DJ on methods to improve their customer service qualities and also writes articles for several wedding publications.
