In 1989, Mark and Rebecca Ferrell originated The Love Story concept for wedding receptions by DJ/Entertainers. The Love Story quickly became their “signature piece.” They perfected the concept over a span of more than 12 years before other DJs discovered the idea and began to emulate their version of “The Love Story”. Some did it well, but most didn’t have the training, knowledge, or skills necessary to do the concept or their clients justice.

The Love Story, done properly, is an incredibly humorous, meaningful, and moving addition to any romantic event’s entertainment. Doing it properly involves a specific skill set that requires training and education, and is cultivated over time.

Done poorly, The Love Story can embarrass the honorees and bore their guests. Needless to say, do not hire a DJ that lacks the requisite training to perform The Love Story.
