Why is pricing so important?

Why are other DJs Cheaper?

1. They don't offer all of the services a true professional disc jockey should. This means, home stereo equipment, a limited music library, no back-up equipment, little or no advance planning and little or no coordination, which can lead to major problems for a Wedding Reception, Corporate Event, Private Party, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or for that matter, any special event.

2. Most "DJ's" have absolutely no training. They figure if they can play a CD, and they can run what is probably one of the biggest parties/special event you have ever given, or one of the most important days of your life, YOUR WEDDING . Few DJ's realize that the success or failure of your event lies in their hands. Mostly they think it's about the music or how big their speakers are. Even though that's important, that is only the beginning.

3. The DJ industry is full of people who DJ part time for extra money. They focus on their real job during the week and think all they have to do is show up and play some music and they've done their job. Their focus is not on you or your special event, and if they mess up, or at best, give their typical "average DJ" performance, what do they have to lose?

4. Many charge low rates in order to get every job that comes their way, then they may even sub-contract out your event to part timers whose experience and quality may be even worse. There is no consistency of quality you can depend on.

Where do you serve?

We serve the entire Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas. In addition we have access to a network of DJs worldwide.

How long does it take to set up?

Weddings generally take 1 hour to set up before guests arrive. Generally for school events it takes up to 2 hours to set up a system with lighting provided the unloading zone is within 25 feet of the set up location. Take down times can vary but generally are 1/2 the set up time.

Do you have any references?

References available upon request.

What kind of music do you play?

We play only today's best new music and yesterday's favorite past selections. We inventory thousands of selections on site to give your guests the variety you are looking for. We customize music to your event.

Is the music clean?

We get our music from some of the same sources radio stations receive their selections. All music is edited and safe of any hard lyrics or content.

What format is the music?

We only use digital formats including: DVD, CD, CD-G, MD, and computer run programs. A cassette deck is only available by special request for a small fee. Some DJs specialize in spinning vinyl media and are available by request.
